Our rooms are fully equipped to provide 24-hour nursing care, with fully adjustable beds with specialist mattresses, call bells fitted in every room and qualified nursing staff available 24 hours a day to assist with residents’ needs. Our electronic care plan system ensures the most accurate and up-to-date recording of residents’ medical needs as well as their preferences for personal care, enabling our nursing and care teams to understand, in depth, each resident’s individual needs and wishes.
Specialist care:
Palliative and End of Life Care
for those diagnosed with a terminal illness and who require qualified nursing support. This can be both on a long-term basis and more short-term for the last weeks of life.
Long-term Nursing Care
for those in need of specialist nursing support over an extended period.
Respite/Short-term Care
for those needing nursing and care support during convalescence, or for full-time carers who need a short period of rest and relaxation.
Petworth Cottage does not accept those with Dementia as their primary diagnosis.
Privacy & Dignity of Residents
We respect the rights of our residents to be left alone and undisturbed whenever they wish as long as the environment is safe to do so. They also will have the right to meet family, friends, and visitors without being overlooked or overheard. Staff will always show regard for the privacy of individuals. All personal details held are kept within the GDPR guidance.
